Crown Heights has become a vibrant, eclectic neighborhood that crosses the central part of Brooklyn, from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on the west all the way to Ralph Avenue on the east. With a population of more than 150,000 people, Crown Heights offers residents an urban feel with easy access to plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.
Crown Heights is home to a diverse community that includes many families and young professionals. The neighborhood also has a large Caribbean community which hosts one of the city's largest street festivals, the annual West Indian Day Parade.
